受新冠肺炎疫情等公共健康问题的影响，部分托福考生无法参加在线下考试中心开展的托福 iBT^® 考试，为满足广大考生参加考试的需求，ETS 推出家庭版托福 iBT^® 考试（TOEFL iBT^® Home Edition）。该考试的考试内容、考试形式及考试体验与在线下考试中心举行的托福 iBT^® 考试完全一致。

考生可以在家使用自己的电脑参加家庭版托福 iBT^® 考试，并且考试将由人工监考员通过 ProctorU^® 在线全程监考。家庭版托福 iBT^® 考试提供每周 4 天每天 24 小时全天候考试时间选择。考生在完成注册 24 小时之后即可进行预约。
